DENOSA Gauteng Shop Stewards attend COSATU Gauteng Provincial Shop Stewards Council

DENOSA Gauteng Shop Stewards on 19 September attended the COSATU Gauteng Provincial Shop Stewards Council (PSSC) at the JHB City Hall, to pave the mobilisation way about the COSATU National Strike on 27 September.

COSATU Provincial Chairperson addressed the workers. He said at the core of the COSATU National Strike to confront State Capture is money of the workers that wants to be accessed and used unscrupulously.

He further said that strengthening member-servicing should and must be at the core of COSATU affiliates, not factionalism.

"We want NHI now! We want State pharmaceutical company now! We want Free Education now! We want state bank now! We want control of mineral resources now!! That's what we want."

COSATU Gauteng Shop Stewards marched to Gauteng Legislature against evictions, then proceeded to the financially struggling GP Health offices to demand answers to many issues from shortage of nurses, NHI readiness non-payment of PMDS among many others...

Gauteng Health DDG: Clinical Services, Dr Richard Lebethe accepted & signed the Memorandum of Demands.
