DENOSA is saddened by the passing of its Northern Cape Provincial Organiser, cde Tebogo 'Tizza' Koikanyang yesterday after a short illness.
As a cadre, cde Tizza dedicated all his working life to the nurses' struggle from being a shop steward. He rose through the ranks of DENOSA from being a shop steward in the workplace to being a provincial chairperson until he was employed as provincial organiser.
Key to his effectiveness was the calm and mature demeanor in which he approached every battle of nurses. He had a big and good heart, all of which he gave to the nurses' challenges as he crisscrossed the province in the performance of his duties.
DENOSA Northern Cape has become poorer without cde Tizza. He will be remembered for his positiveness and love for everyone, and for his complete dedication to the struggle of the workers.
Cde Tizza has given every muscle of his to the endless struggles of nurses in Northern Cape.
DENOSA sends its heartfelt condolences to the Koikanyang family and friends.
Details about his memorial service and funeral arrangements will be announced upon finalisation.
May his humble Soul Rest in Peace.
