DENOSA national recruitment campaign entered Karoo on 16 June when it visited Ladismith and Oudtshoorn hospitals as well as surrounding clinic. It also visited facilities in Uniondale.
On Friday the campaign is in Beaufort West, as well as the surrounding clinics in the George areas where they are visiting some clinics.
The campaign enables DENOSA to interact with nurses in general and its members in particular on nursing issues, while also recruiting new members.
This will mark the end for now for Southern Cape as the campaign moves to the Cape Metro and Boland Overberg regions in the second week. The recruitment by shop stewards in the region will continue.
The campaign is led by regional chairperson and the whole executive, overseen by provincial treasurer in the Western Cape, Alida Portland.
West Coast Winelands region will also wrap up its campaign today.
